Common questions
Do I need an account?
No. You can turn images into patterns, draw from scratch and export instructions for free. An account is only needed if you want to store drawings in the cloud.
Will my original pictures be uploaded?
No. Your original image stays on your device. Cloud saving sends your pattern, its settings and your build progress, not the picture you started with. You decide what to upload and when to update it.
Can I keep working offline?
Open BeadDraw online first and save a browser copy of your drawing. You can then edit, follow the build steps and export without a connection. Download cloud drawings before going offline; signing out does not remove your browser copies.
How do I continue on another device?
Upload a drawing to your account, sign in on the other device and download it there. Later edits stay on that device until you choose to update the cloud copy. Original images are not included, so you will need the original picture to generate the pattern again.
Can I mirror the build pattern?
Yes. Keep mirroring on if you want to show the un-ironed bead side, or switch it off to show the ironed side. Check the finished preview to make sure your design faces the way you want.
Are the displayed Hama colours exact?
The colour numbers help you choose beads, but screens, lighting and bead batches can look different. Compare your actual beads when an exact colour match matters.
